2006 Services
At A Glance Point Of Sale Upgrade: 4,700 Point of Sale systems were re-imaged and tested in the field. This was completed over 14 business days without any interruption of service to the end customer. Access Point Replacement: 1,210 Access Points were installed during a 21-day rollout. Existing Access Points were rotated back to the customers depot department. Retrofit Ethernet Cabling Rollout: 590 Retro Fit Ethernet Cabling Installations were completed during a 60-day rollout. The client was required to have additional Ethernet cabling installed for an upcoming point of sale conversion that TekSource.Com completed. New Store Installations: 420 New Store openings. These installations included all required data/voice cabling, phone system installation, and POS hardware installations completed. Same Day Service: 3,425 Same day service requests completed. Service request ranging from "Hard Down" server replacements to Ethernet cabling troubleshooting. Next Day Service: 17,049 Next day service requests completed. Service requests ranged from printer installations, Ethernet troubleshooting, point of sale terminal installations, and wireless network troubleshooting as well as a host of other requests. Banking/Financial Sector Installations: 284 Installations were completed involving 42" Plasma Screens, 19" LCD's, and related content delivery hardware. Digital photographs and As-Built drawings were delivered to the customer as required. |
